maxbuilds.app is run by Colrosa Studios Ltd. We decide how your data is used, so we are the data controller. To ask anything about your data, email max@maxbuilds.app.
What we keep and why
If you give us your email address, we keep it with your time zone, the page you signed up on, where you came from (for example Instagram or YouTube), and the consent words you saw. We use it to send what you asked for and new guides, tutorials, prompts and templates. You can unsubscribe from any email.
If you tap an answer on a guide, such as what you want to use Claude for, we keep it so we can choose better guides for you.
We count visits with our own analytics. We give your browser a random id and record what happens on the site, such as pages opened and prompts copied. This data stays with us. We never share it, sell it, or use it to follow you on other sites.
If you open a guide from a link I sent you in an Instagram DM, the link tells us which conversation it came from. That lets us connect your visit to that conversation.
Our emails come from mail.maxbuilds.app. We record whether an email bounced or was marked as spam, so we stop sending to that address.
Who helps us run the site
Vercel hosts the site. Supabase stores our data. Resend sends our emails. They only handle your data to do these jobs for us.
Cookies
We use four small cookies, all our own. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels.
mb_v holds the random analytics id. It lasts 13 months, and we don't set it if you turn analytics off.
mb_off remembers that you turned analytics off.
mb_s remembers that you have signed up, so we stop asking for your email.
mb_d remembers the email boxes you closed, so they stay closed.
Turn off analytics
You can turn analytics off at any time with the button below or the link at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep analytics for 13 months. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a note that you unsubscribed, so we never email you again by mistake.
Why we're allowed to use it
We email you because you asked us to. We run first-party analytics under the exemption in the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and you can turn it off at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email max@maxbuilds.app and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
